Formally registered in June of 1999, Suryodaya Urja Pvt. Ltd. is currently a leading Solar PV systems integrator and implementer in the country. Suryodaya Urja is pre-qualified by Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) of Government of Nepal (GoN) to manufacture/ integrate/ install solar PV systems for Government Subsidy programs.

Suryodaya Urja is working on a grid tie solar project in which 700 kW of Energy is being generated from solar modules and are diretly fed to Grid Supply at Kirtipur. The project is at its final stage with an installation of Solar PV modules.

Suryodaya Urja P. Ltd has successfully installed Solar Street Lighting Systems in and around Nepal including Butwal Municipality, Bhutanese Refugee Camp Damak Jhapa and Patan Durbar Square. In figures 175 Sets of Street lights at Bhutanese Refugee Camp, 48 Sets of Street Light at Butwal Municipality and 12 Sets of street lights at Patan Durbar Square has been installed and is working in good condition till date. As we all know that the country has been suffering from chronic load-shedding, the Solar Street Light will enhance the level of urban safety and security. At the same time, it will save the grid power consumption & also contribute to the global environmental agenda through promoting renewal energy. It will also help to ensure the further beautification of streets and market places. At a present time the Solar street lights are available at Suryodaya Urja at reasonable prices.
